Being Bad Questionnaire
I guess I better answer this

Young enough to have a good time and old enough to be responsible for my actions

What is your degree subject (both if joint)?
Media & Communications/ creative Writing
Does ‘Being Bad’ relate well to the other modules you are taking?
No.. Being Bad stands alone
If so, how? And if not, why not?
It was the module that they made us do
Have you found ‘Being Bad’ too demanding, too easy, or at an appropriate level?
Did not hae the time to be messing around doing these blogs specially when for the 1st few weeks my blogs were lost in cyber space... did you not hear me shouting Mark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was not hard I just did not find it necessary... (We STILL HAVE FREEDOM OF CHOICE)
Do you think the list of topics covered on the module was appropriate?
No for me but maybe for some
Are there any topics not included in the module that you would like to see included?
No... slightly blunt.. but STILL NO!
Do you think that the format for classes has worked well?
Sometimes the format of the class worked well but on one count there was 168 students and that was not necessarily a good thing. Specially in the old MT Building that was often cold not enough chairs and filled with dust!
Oh yeah sometimes we had to sit on the floor or the stairs.
What did you think of the module team?
Three cheers for Mark... helping us with the weblogs and his comments over his sips of coffe in the seminar sessions flicking his long his long hair was cool!
Kevin was alright.. made the sessions ok.
Jackie A.K.A 'JP' she is way out in an okay kind of way. Afterall she is an american.... no I am not having a dig at Americans ...I'm off there next week for my semester break
Wish I had time to go to Disney World mind you!

Do you think it would have been better to have more:
· Small group discussions? YES
· Discussion and debate among the class as a whole? YES
· Information and talk from lecturers? NO the teachers did enough talking...LoL!
The approach taken in the module is interdisciplinary (drawing on perspectives from English Literature, Film Studies, Creative Writing, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Media Studies and Politics): do you think this a useful way of approaching the topics covered in the module?
Not Sure
Do you think that interdisciplinary modules are a good idea?
I believe that it is a good idea but it does not necessarily mean that it will work all the time with every subject.
Do you think you have benefited from the interdisciplinary approach taken in the module?
NO
Would you like to see more modules that cover this kind of subject matter?
NO THIS WAS ENOUGH TO LAST FOR THE WHOLE THREE YEARS! LET THE MEMORY LAST!
Are you planning to take the follow-up module PH2004

‘Thou Shalt Not’ (note: the name of this module is likely to be changed to ‘It Shouldn’t be Allowed!’) at level 2?
Whatever I will not be losing sleep over it!
Would you recommend ‘Being Bad’ to a friend?
I would tell them what we did and leave them to make their own personal judgement... afterall everyone is not the same.
Do you think that the blogs (web logs) were a good idea?
If you want to get a point across... mass communication.. that is people really wanted to read the blogs.
What did you think of the other assessments
They were ok.. Because of my religious background was a bit of a struggle
(e.g. would it be better to have one longer assessment rather than two shorter ones?)?
What have you learned from the module? I don't think that I learnt that much.. I guess it may have opened my eyes to see more of the same.
(After all no one lives in a world with blind Folds on)

TELLING LIES
Telling Lies with intergrity.... lol would you believe it!
This was the topic of today's Being Bad session.
Morally is there a difference.
As young children crow they are not told how to [LIE] bUT YET WHEN ASK WHO ATE ALL THE COOKIES FROM THE JAR.... " they reply susan ate them... their imaginatory friend.
So why do people lie to save face....
Is it better to tell the truth and face the consequences...
Some one made the comment that we have to make sure that if we lie that we must aim to do it well... to cover out tracks.... but does not this cause problems in the long run... how long can someone tell lies and get away with it?
Does anyone that is reading this remember the hilarious film called Liar Liar? Liar Liar1 You can rent it on Dvd... maybe you know someone who had a copy just borrow theirs....
Otherswise you can watch the trailer of PinocchioA wooden toy that told lies and then his nose grew! Big Nose Liar
Anyway I am sure i have past the 50 words mark.. so i got things to do!
At least i am not the only one to think that you can not tell lies with integrity read what leon from being bad had to say !
